CONFLUX

Conflux is a work for tenor recorder and live electronics written for Imogen Morris.

 

The work focuses on the meeting, and merging, of two streams – the old and the new. The recorder’s rich, primal timbre is contrasted and combined with harsh mechanical textures that speaks to me of push and pull between nature and technology.
